Whether it’s embracing who she is or drawing a line in the sand, Janelle’s hoping to share her lessons learned with others.

The former second wife of Kody has always been more independent than the rest. Janelle has worked outside the family home since Sister Wives season 1 and their time in Lehi, Utah. At the start of her career, Janelle ran a small business called E Z Pantry, which was involved in the food storage industry. After the move to Las Vegas, Janelle got her real estate license. And since relocating to Flagstaff, Arizona, Janelle has been working with Plexus and starting her own wellness company. All of these career moves have made Janelle a tough cookie who isn’t willing to take anything from anyone, especially her lazy, soon-to-be ex-husband, Kody.

At one point, the patriarch became so angry with his older children’s lack of obedience that he demanded Janelle kick out her two older sons. However, Janelle was prepared for Kody’s antics and noted that she was the only one on the tenancy agreement, noting she would do no such thing. Janelle drew a line in the sand with Kody that day as she made it clear he would not have power over her in her own home.

Now that Janelle has found her voice, she will not misplace it again, especially regarding her rights as a wife and woman.
