Sister Wives star Gwen Brown’s opinions may have rubbed her family the wrong way because she temporarily unfollowed her mother Christine Brown on Instagram. Since the latest season ended, Gwen has been speaking out against the injustices that went on within her polygamous family. However, not everyone seems to be thrilled with Gwen spilling the tea.
Gwen has always been a bit of a black sheep when compared to the rest of the Brown siblings. The Sister Wives star has grown up in the spotlight, and often kept quiet around the TLC cameras. However, as Gwen grew into an adult, she started to notice how her father Kody treated her family differently. While he was cozied up with Robyn Brown and their family, Christine and her kids were essentially kicked to the curb. Gwen has wasted no time in putting her father and his bad parenting on blast for all to hear.

The mother-and-daughter duo has always presented a united front, with Gwen standing by her mother during her split from Kody in November 2021. Gwen is still very active on all of her social media accounts, but it looks like the Northern Arizona University student didn’t want to keep up with Christine’s sappy posts about her boyfriend, David Woolley.

While it’s unclear when Gwen decided to unfollow her mother, it’s possible there is secret drama in the Brown family home. However, Gwen has been extremely outspoken in her support for Christine, noting in a recent video that she deserves someone who loves her. While Gwen is still following a lot of her family members, it seems like she needed space from her mother for a while, but Christine was still following Gwen.
The newly engaged Gwen is still very much keeping up to date on the Sister Wives drama, as she follows most of her siblings on Instagram. She is following Ysabel, Aspyn, and Mykelti Brown’s personal accounts. Even after speaking out against Robyn and Meri Brown, Gwen still follows both of the wives’ accounts. Gwen shared that she didn’t like Robyn for manipulating the family, and even shared how Meri was mean to them when growing up in Utah. However, if there was any tension between Christine and Gwen, hopefully cameras catch it for the next season.
