For years, the stars of Sister Wives have shared that they chose to dress modestly to respect their husband Kody Brown, but now Christine Brown is making a few changes. Since divorcing Kody in November 2021, she has been reinventing herself, including some of her fashion choices. With a wedding on the horizon, Christine is wanting to look her best.
As the romantic of the group, Christine has always been a free spirit who embraced everything good about life. Sister Wives fans first met the mother of six in 2010 when she was introduced as Kody’s third wife. As far as the family knew, Kody was happy with his spouse, and everything within the household seemed fine. However, the father of 18 soon surprised his first three wives by taking a fourth and much younger spouse, Robyn Brown. While all the other women were older, Robyn had a youthful glow about her that could leave anyone feeling just a bit jealous.

During an early season of Sister Wives, the four wives sat on the couch and explained why dressing modestly was so important to them. Christine noted that they preferred to wear three-quarter sleeve tops, sharing that they aren’t allowed to wear tank tops. For years, Christine, Robyn, Janelle, and Meri Brown were seen wearing long sleeves with pants and never shorts. Polygamist clothing has roots in the 19th century, as the prairie dresses that everyone is used to seeing are meant to show modesty and conformity.

Now that Christine is moving on with her fiance David Woolley, she’s embracing her sensual side. It hasn’t gone unnoticed that the Sister Wives star has been wearing extremely low-cut tops in some of her Instagram posts, which she has almost busted out of. The mother of six never cared much for fashion as she often wore oversized T-shirts, but now that she has found the love of her life, she’s updating her look. Christine has begun to embrace cold shoulder tops and tight-fitted jeans, and quite frankly, she has never looked better.
It’s amazing what a fashion makeover can do for someone like Christine’s self-esteem. Since leaving Kody behind, the Sister Wives star hasn’t looked back and seems happier than ever. Christine has made time for her new life, which includes plenty of date nights with her beau and quality time with her children and grandchildren. With Christine’s wedding approaching soon, it will be interesting to see what type of bridal gown she chooses in the end.
