For years, Robyn Brown of Sister Wives has struggled with keeping her coin purse closed as she is often caught spending the Brown family money. The mother of five hasn’t always lived a frugal lifestyle like some of Kody Brown’s other wives. Robyn has always liked nice things and usually finds a way to pay for them.
Undoubtedly, Robyn is the least liked when it comes to the Sister Wives stars. Between Robyn’s ability to cry on cue and manipulate Kody, there was little room for her to become a fan favorite. Being the fourth wife of Kody has afforded her many luxuries within her married life. While Christine, Janelle, and Meri Brown often followed strict guidelines, Robyn was allowed to break multiple rules. For instance, Kody helped her pick out her wedding dress, and the two kissed multiple times before they were ever married.

Since the last season ended, fans of Sister Wives have taken to rewatching the earlier seasons in hopes of catching some forgotten information. Robyn Brown May Have A Shopping Addiction
Robyn told the TLC cameras in her confessional that she and Kody “look” at money differently, noting the patriarch talks a lot about saving for their move. Robyn went on to share that while she thinks saving is a good idea, she also thinks “that [the] quality of living is important.” Eventually, Robyn bought a luxury home in Arizona with two master bedrooms and a four-car garage. Robyn and Kody took money out of the Brown family savings to put a down payment on their forever home, with fans calling her out for being “rude” about their finances.
In the first season of Sister Wives, Robyn entered the family with crippling debt that she claimed came from shopping excessively. Robyn was used to shopping at several department stores, racking up thousands of dollars on her credit cards. Kody and his first three wives had to assume her debt and help her pay it off. Now that Kody is only living with Robyn, he may decide to tighten the purse strings, especially with Robyn’s history of spending needlessly.
