Important ‘Yellowstone’ Video Mysteriously Disappears Amid Chaos With the Show

Paramount Network apparently isn’t interested in promoting a summer return for “Yellowstone.”

Following the midseason break for the hit western with Kevin Costner, it was announced in a teaser that the show would return in the summer.

However, that video is now unlisted on YouTube. That means unless you already have the link, which I do, you can’t find it anymore.

“Yellowstone” is facing a ton of problems.

As fans of the series know, the show is currently consumed with issues and problems. There’s serious speculation Kevin Costner might leave the series.

A report claimed he only wanted to shoot the rest of season five over a single week. His lawyer denied there’s any truth to that, but things certainly don’t seem to be trending.

A Puck News report also claimed Taylor Sheridan was “furious” with the situation. The “Yellowstone” creator is reportedly ready to kill off John Dutton. If that happens, it’s unlikely fans ever get the ending we’ve always hoped for.

When will the series return?

The fact the summer return announcement has gone unlisted should tell fans everything they need to know. The chances of “Yellowstone” returning in the summer are incredibly low.

At this point, it might be hovering right around zero. Season five production was supposed to start in March. So far, there’s no indication of any kind it has.

Kevin Costner reportedly has a loaded schedule, and it’s unclear when he might even be available to shoot the rest of season five – if he’s even available at all.

That means fans could be staring down the barrel of “Yellowstone” not returning until late 2023 or maybe even early 2024. It’s a complete disaster of a situation. The summer announcement going unlisted is just the latest sign things aren’t trending up. The situation appears to be going in the exact opposite direction.

Make sure to keep checking back to OutKick for the latest “Yellowstone” updates as we have them. As of right now, the situation definitely doesn’t look positive. It looks very bad, and the YouTube announcement going unlisted is just the latest sign of serious trouble.

The Latest Kevin Costner News May Infuriate ‘Yellowstone’ Fans

The latest news regarding Kevin Costner’s next project may frustrate Yellowstone fans. First, they are waiting for the remaining Yellowstone Season 5 episodes.

The second reason because Paramount has revealed that they are having issues with filming the second part because the Dances With Wolves star can only film the series for a total of a week.

Therefore, what news could frustrate fans further? How about confirmation that Costner is currently not filming the new season?

Extras Are Needed For Kevin Costner’s Horizon, An American Saga

Just recently, the St. George paper advertised for extras for Kevin Costner’s four-part movie series, Horizon, An American Saga. Costner is directing and starring in this mega series. The publication stated that the production is looking for “background actors” to film soon.

They need the extras on Friday, March 17, and Saturday, March 18 between 10 a.m., to 3 p.m., local time. The publication reveals that those who want to participate need to meet at the Best Western Plus Abby Inn. This hotel is located at 1129 S. Bluff St. in St. George.

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in being in a movie! Moreover, they are filming the second of the four movies. The first was filmed last year.

This Movie Production Means Kevin Costner Not Filming Yellowstone

While it is exciting that Kevin Costner is filming more of his dream project, this is not great news for Yellowstone fans. All of this time he is spending in Utah means he is not playing John Dutton in Taylor Sheridan’s hit series.

After Paramount revealed that there were issues with the filming of the top television series because of Costner’s absence, his lawyer Marty Singer countered that the accusations were “lies.”

However, production on the Paramount series is now stalled, and production of Costner’s Horizon, An American Saga is ramped up. It certainly sounds like Kevin has other things to do than continue the Dutton saga. At least for now.

What is Horizon, An American Saga About?

What do we know about Kevin Costner’s big new project Horizon, An American Saga? According to IMDb, “Chronicles a multi-faceted, 15-year span of pre-and post-Civil War expansion and settlement of the American West.”

In addition, there will be four parts to this movie. The first part has already been filmed in 2022. They are currently filming the second part. Costner and John Baird wrote the script, with Costner directing. Costner has not directed a movie since his Western, Open Range, in 2003.

Some of the names attached to this movie series include Sienna Miller, Luke Wilson, Sam Worthington, Danny Huston, and Thomas Haden Church.

As for the rest of Yellowstone Season 5, fans are still waiting to hear news about filming the rest of the season. Moreover, they also want to know if Kevin Costner will be back in a full-time capacity as patriarch John Dutton.
