‘Yellowstone’ on CBS: This Crazy Hot Sex Scene Is Like Nothing You’ve Ever Seen On The Tiffany Network
If you have yet to dive into the Kevin Costner western drama Yellowstone on Paramount Network, you should know that before the show even begins, this promise flashes across the screen: “This program contains nudity. Viewer discretion is advised.” How about now, you ready to watch?
Yellowstone follows the Dutton family as they fight to keep their land in Montana, just as the chief of the neighboring reservation looks to reclaim it. There’s a reason it became most watched series on cable this summer, and while it looks beautiful and remains compelling throughout, it has something else working in its favor: a totally hot sex scene in the pilot episode.
Episode 1, “Daybreak” takes its time setting up the series, as the pilot runs at 1 hour and 32 minutes long, but about halfway through at the 45-minute mark, that’s when things go from zero to sexy. Kelly Reilly’s Beth Dutton and Cole Hauser’s Rip Wheeler meet up early in the morning, but it’s not the coffee that’s going to start their day off right.
It all starts out with some innocent yet antagonizing flirting, with Rip responding to Beth’s claim that she doesn’t “really sleep” with, “Yeah, well they say spiders don’t.”
With her coffee and a cigarette in one hand, she uses her other to undo the tie on her bathrobe, giving him a tease of the goods. Before he can even inhale, Rip asks, “What are you doing?” to which she replies, “Adjusting my web.”
All Rip can do is clear his throat before she propositions him with, “Life’s not that complicated, Rip. You either walk on down the hall or fuck me.”
Which is where Yellowstone employs a whiplash-fast cut to the two of them going at it HARD, like not only moving the furniture they’re doin’ it on top of, but having it repeatedly bang up hard against the wall. It’s rough, it’s quick, and judging by the characters’ reactions, it seems to be a successful transaction. Plus, it’s just plain HOT to watch.
Unfortunately, Rip uses the postcoital moment to invite Beth to a music festival and she can only sigh, “You ruin it every time.”
