What’s everybody watching this weekend? I plan to stream the 2023 British slasher film Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey on Peacock, the new season of Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares on Hulu, and It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown on Apple TV+. And, yes, I’m well aware that the Winnie the Pooh movie has a whopping 3% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes. I. Can’t. Wait.
One show I won’t be watching, however, is Yellowstone. The popular Kevin Costner-led series is still on hiatus, but Season 1 episodes are airing Sunday nights on CBS. When exactly will Yellowstone return with new episodes? Here’s everything you need to know.
Is The New Yellowstone on Tonight?
Yellowstone is on tonight… but it’s a rerun. The seventh and eighth episodes of the series (“A Monster Is Among Us” and “The Unraveling” Part 1) are scheduled to air tonight from 8:00-10:00 p.m. ET on CBS.
It’s possible, however, that the start time will be delayed due to NFL football.
When Does Yellowstone Return With New Episodes?
Nobody really knows. In January, it was announced that the final six episodes of Yellowstone Season 5 would debut in the summer of 2023. Obviously, that didn’t happen. Back in May, Deadline reported that Paramount Network was eyeing a November 2023 release date. November always seemed aspirational at best, with The Hollywood Reporter even noting back in June that a November 2023 return seemed “highly unlikely.”
The writers’ strike is over, but the SAG-AFTRA strike is still ongoing. Production on the final episodes of the series has yet to begin, so the situation remains in flux. Unfortunately, we don’t expect new episodes of Yellowstone to air on Paramount Network in the near future.
Is Yellowstone on Netflix or Hulu?
Nope. The series isn’t currently streaming on Netflix or Hulu.
