The epic final instalment of Season 5 will premiere this November, only on Stan.

While we brace ourselves for the end of the beloved series, we take a wild ride down memory lane.

Gather ’round and see if you can wrangle a who’s who in these iconic throwback Yellowstone snaps.

This young cowboy posted the ultimate throwback taken in Iowa, 1994.

You could say his character sports a very similar style today – loving the tassels!

“Gems from Grandma’s house. Miss that jacket,” the star captioned the photo, which was shared to his Instagram.

Fans were absolutely loving the sweet pic.

“Cowboy 🤠 foreshadowing!!,” said one follower.

“The hair, the jacket…it’s everything!,” wrote another.

Scroll through for another impressive snap.

Yep, you don’t want to mess with this cowboy!

Taken a year later in Virginia, 1995, the young star was rocking a mean mullet, and we’re sure there’s been a few times his character has made this face.

You can probably guess who it is, right?

It’s Jimmy, played by Jefferson White!

We first met Jimmy in Season 1, a lovable and naïve ranch hand with a heart of gold.

He often finds himself in humorous and awkward situations, yet has come a long way and remains dedicated to the ranch.

This little cutie plays a son in the series, and we can’t get over that cheeky smile.

Both photos were shared to the star’s Instagram. He captioned the pic of the left: “I’m guessing someone was dangling some version of a donut in front of me. #tbt.”

“P.S. What the hell am I wearing? Thanks mom,” he added.

But the throwbacks don’t stop there…

The cowboy is a little more grown up here, and these photos have 90s vibes all over them.

“If Harry Potter was made in 1995 I’d have to think this guy woulda gotten it,” he captioned the Instagram photo on the left.

The photo on the right looks like it was taken on school photo day!

“Not sure why I wasn’t voted sexiest ginger wearing a questionable shirt with the laser background in 6th grade,” he wrote.

The comments under the photo were just as epic.

“Favorite background choice! The trees were the lamest!!,” wrote one fan.

“Lazer background was the best,” said another.

While actress Mandy Moore wrote: “It’s all about the tie.”

Can you guess who it is?

It’s the oldest Dutton son Lee – played by Dave Annable!

While his time was short-lived on the series, the memory of Dave’s character was always strong in the heart of John.

Speaking of…

It doesn’t get better than this.

This particular star tops Throwback Thursdays with these incredible Instagram photos.

“Who is this kid?? #ThrowbackThursday circa 1981,” he captioned the pic on the left.

The leather jacket, the gaze – “Just wow” commented one fan and we couldn’t agree more.

Another star destined to play a cowboy.

“I’ve been playing the cowboy for a long time 🤠,” he wrote about the Instagram photo on the left.

We’re not quite sure what’s happening on the right Instagram, but it does remind us of the Yellowstone bunk house!

Yep, it’s Kevin Costner who plays John Dutton III.

Dutton is a widowed sixth-generation patriarch who operates the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. He’ll do anything to protect his family legacy, and what a legend he is.

Ready for another iconic character?

Back with the black and white throwbacks, this rugged ranch hand was not so rugged in real life.

“My first directing gig,” he captioned the snap on the left.

The second Instagram photo was taken on the set of School Ties, a 1992 film starring Brendan Fraser, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.

Recognise the star?

Here’s one more photo, a curly-haired blast from the past – that was taken in the 80s to be exact.

“Rollin in the 80’s,” he wrote alongside the school snap.

The curls most definitely got the girls in the comments section on the post.

“So cute!!!! Those curls..I’m dying 😍,” said one fan.

“I knew you had curly hair, but wow!” said another.

Let’s see who it is!

It’s the one and only Rip Wheeler, played by Cole Hauser in the series.

An enforcer, protected and a character with the utmost loyalty to the Dutton family and the Yellowstone ranch.

Jefferson White (Jimmy) wasn’t the only star who rocked a mullet in their younger days.

Celebrating Old Headshot Day, this star shared two glorious throwbacks to his Instagram. Such a power pose for a man who went on to play a man in power.

Let’s see the actor now.

In case you couldn’t tell, it was Gill Birmingham a.k.a Thomas Rainwater.

The confident and shrewd Native American casino mogul and tribal leader, whose reservation borders the Yellowstone ranch.

This young girl grew up to play a character who has had quite the journey on Yellowstone.

But let’s swap that sun hat for a cowgirl hat, shall we?

Keep scrolling to see the star now.

It’s Kelsey Asbille who plays Monica Long!

Throughout the series, Monica grapples with the challenges of maintaining her cultural identity, while adapting to the ranching lifestyle and the complex life that is the Dutton family.

We can’t wait to see what her character does next.
