Clint Eastwood’s Next Movie Revealed: Story Details & 2 Big Stars
Clint Eastwood’s next (and possibly final) film project is revealed, with stars Toni Collette and Nicholas Hoult reported to be attached.
Clint Eastwood’s next film project Juror No. 2 is revealed, with two major stars reported to be attached. The 92-year-old Eastwood’s last film Cry Macho, a project he’d been developing for years, was released in 2021 amid COVID and disappointingly failed to turn a profit. The movie’s failure indeed led to questions from new Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav, who reportedly was upset that the movie was ever greenlit in the first place, and also reportedly questioned the studio’s ongoing relationship with Eastwood.
Reports that Eastwood’s relationship with WBD might be on shaky ground after Cry Macho naturally led to doubts about the legendary actor-director’s future in film, but those doubts can now be put to rest, as Eastwood is reported to have a new project in the works at WB (via The Wrap). Entitled Juror No. 2, the film is described as a legal drama centered on a juror in a murder trial who begins to suspect they caused the victim’s death, and the prosector conducting the trial. Eastwood’s film reportedly is recruiting a pair of big names in Toni Collette and Nicholas Hoult to head up the cast.
