Kevin Costner’s Yellowstone Drama Explained
As John, Costner has played a key role in the Yellowstone story from the opening episode. Following the release of season 5 part 1 earlier this year, however, work on part 2 was delayed due to reported behind-the-scenes tensions. Costner, it is alleged, was demanding less filming time on the show in order to focus on his own upcoming epic Western, Horizon.
Yellowstone season 5 part 2 was supposed to release in September of this year, but these plans changed due to the reported stalemate between Costner and the production.
