Kevin Costner And Reese Witherspoon Are Allegedly Dating As They Both Finalize Divorces
A new report claims the actors realized they have a mutual attraction after looking into collaborating on a new project.

Kevin Costner and Reese Witherspoon don’t only have successful acting careers in common, but also recent divorces. This has apparently brought them together, as a new report claims the newly single actors are dating.
As per a report by New Idea, Reese and Kevin apparently realized there was a spark when they began discussing the potential for collaboration earlier this year.
Kevin And Reese Reportedly Want To Work Together
“Kevin’s had his eye on Reese ever since she won her Oscar, but he didn’t count on finding her absolutely charming as hell,” a source told the publication. “They’ve been calling and texting on the pretence of finding the perfect script, but it’s becoming almost a daily occurrence.”
There’s a two-decade age difference between the ac tors. While Reese is 47, Kevin is 68. The alleged romance between the pair may have taken fans off-guard, but the insider claims those close to them aren’t surprised.
“No-one is surprised that Kevin and Reese have hit it off,” the source adds. “They’re extremely compatible.”
New Idea claims Kevin and Reese have been putting in effort to see each other when they’re in the same city. Kevin has also apparently extended an invitation to the Legally Blonde actress to join him on his 65 hectare Aspen, Colorado property.
While the report claims things are heating up between the pair, fans shouldn’t expect a lot of details to emerge, or even photos of the supposed couple, as the source says they want to keep things on the down-low, as they both went through public divorces recently.
“Kevin wants more Oscars for this, not tabloid headlines,” the source said, noting Costner is working on a new Western film, Horizon, which he left his successful role in the TV show Yellowstone to pursue.
Kevin And Reese Plan To Keep Their Reported Romance Private
“He and Reese are always careful to not be seen together but as soon as his Horizon commitments are done, they may be more relaxed about being seen together in public,” they continued. “It’s still very early days.”
Kevin settled his divorce from Christine Baumgartner, his wife of nearly two decades, in September. While she was seeking a significantly higher payout, the court decided the actor would only have to pay $63,000 a month in child support for their three kids (Christine was originally seeking $248,000). Kevin also has three adult kids from his first marriage.
For her part, Reese settled her speedy divorce from talent manager Jim Toth in August, after originally filing in March. The divorce was apparently quick thanks to a pre-nup.
“All household furniture, furnishings, appliances, art, and other items of personal property have been divided to the mutual satisfaction of the parties,” court documents revealed at the time.
Thanks to separate bank accounts, neither party was ordered to pay alimony and they agreed to pay their own legal fees. Moreover, the exes agreed to joint custody of their minor son, with no one paying child support. Jim and Reese had been married since 2011. The actress also shares two older children with her first ex-husband Ryan Philippe.
For now, neither Kevin nor Reese have confirmed their alleged romance.
