Why Does Lloyd Hate Walker in Yellowstone?

Yellowstone has been full of feuds since season one. While most of them have been between the Duttons and their enemies, some have taken place within the ranch.

Walker and Lloyd have never exactly seen eye to eye. However, their dislike for one another grew into a full-on feud in season 4.

So, why does Lloyd hate Walker in Yellowstone? Their feud in season 4 grows to be problematic, causing disruption in the bunkhouse.

Why Does Lloyd Hate Walker in Season 4 of Yellowstone?

Lloyd and Walker’s dislike for each other in season 4 of Yellowstone stems from a love triangle that forms with ranch hand Laramie.

In season three, barrel racer Mia and her friend Laramie arrive at the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. Despite being much younger than him, Laramie takes a liking to Lloyd and begins flirting with him.

While they aren’t each other’s type, Lloyd ends up falling for Laramie regardless. Romance soon blossoms between the unlikely pair.

However, Laramie’s interests change when Walker makes his return to the bunkhouse. Laramie switches her attention to Walker and the two begin dating.

This causes jealousy to ignite within Lloyd and he begins to bicker with Walker. The bickering then escalates into a more serious matter.

The Fight Between Lloyd and Walker

In season 4, episode 4, the tensions between Lloyd and Walker grow high, leading to a fight between the two ranch hands. This lands Lloyd on the wrong side of Rip and John.

Despite being good friends with Lloyd, Rip had to make an example out of him in episode 5, as fighting is not allowed on the ranch.

However, the turmoil continued in episode 6 as it appeared that Lloyd didn’t learn his lesson. Lloyd lets his jealousy win and smashes Walker’s guitar before throwing a knife at his chest.

Fortunately for Walker, the knife narrowly missed his heart and he was able to recover from his stab wound.

Instead of taking Lloyd to the train station, John agrees to give him another chance by fighting Walker until there is no fight left in either of them. Once Walker is back on his feet, a brutal fight occurs between him and Lloyd, resulting in many bruises.

After the fight, Rip isn’t quite done with Lloyd. Brutally, Rip breaks Lloyd’s hand to teach him one final lesson.

John also takes the liberty of banning women from the bunkhouse so no more drama ensues. Unfortunately, this means that Teeter gets the boot as well.

However, Teeter comes back and argues to Rip and John that she is branded and deserves a spot in the bunkhouse. Her persuasion works as she gets her job back at the ranch.

Are Walker and Laramie Still Together?

Despite the feud between Lloyd and Walker, Walker and Laramie are still together. While she no longer works at the ranch, Laramie does return to visit Walker in season 5.

Despite being at the root of Lloyd and Walker’s feud, Laramie even joins the ranch for Lloyd’s birthday celebration. It is unclear what awaits Walker and Laramie in the second part of season 5.

Yellowstone’s Hassie Harrison & Ryan Bingham Confirm Their Romance in Fiery Instagram Pic!

A western romance! Yellowstone costars Ryan Bingham and Hassie Harrison are dating — and they broke the news with a PDA pic.

“More than spark 🔥,” the “Southside of Heaven” singer, 42, captioned an Instagram photo on Wednesday, April 12, of himself and the Back to Lyla actress, 33, sharing a smooch with a fire burning behind them.

Harrison gave her beau a sweet shout-out in the comments section, writing, “I love you, cowboy. 🥰.”

The couple began working together in 2020 on season 3 of the Paramount drama. Bingham plays Walker, a musician and former convict who is recruited as a ranch hand. He was a recurring character for the first three seasons and became a series regular in season 4. Harrison, for her part, joined the critically acclaimed drama in the third season as Laramie, a barrel racer and ranch hand.

Before announcing his romance with the Tacoma FD star, Bingham was married to Anna Axster. The twosome tied the knot in 2009 and welcomed three children. In June 2021, the “Sunrise” crooner filed for divorce from the film producer after 12 years of marriage.

Harrison, for her part, was previously linked to Austin Nichols. The pair — who worked together on the historical drama The Iron Orchard — made their red carpet debut as a couple in July 2018 at Oceana’s 11th Annual SeaChange Summer Party. During the outing, they kissed and held hands.

“This is my lady!” the One Tree Hill alum, 42, exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. Harrison, meanwhile, added that she and Nichols had been dating for “a while” and joked that she and her then-boyfriend had “different time frames” for their timeline of their romance.

The pair didn’t publicly announce when they called it quits, but eagle-eyed social media users noticed that the Day After Tomorrow star last uploaded a photo with Harrison in March 2020.

While things are heating up for the Hart of Dixie alum and the “Wolves” performer behind the scenes of Yellowstone, the hit series has made headlines as it prepares to return for its fifth season.

New episodes of the western were scheduled to premiere this summer, but reports surfaced in February that there were delays amid rumors that Kevin Costner was holding up production. The Emmy winner’s lawyer denied the allegations that month, but the cast has yet to return to filming.

“We haven’t started, no. We know [Taylor Sheridan] is writing and we’re looking forward to getting back,” Wendy Moniz, who plays Lynelle Perry, exclusively told Us at PaleyFest earlier this month. “I’m along for this ride for as long as [the show] goes. That’s what I can tell you. It’s just been a dream job.”

Ryan Bingham Recently Spoke About How He He Landed His ‘Yellowstone’ Role

While speaking to Cowboys and Indians last month, Ryan Bingham recalled how he landed his role on Yellowstone.

“Originally, Taylor [Sheridan] contacted me about writing some songs for the show,” Bingham said. “Then when he discovered my family ranched and I used to ride bulls, he said, ‘Well, shoot. We gotta get you in the show. If you’re good, we’ll keep you on. If you suck, we’ll kill you off.’ I’m not dead yet.”

Bingham also said he’d rather be on the show’s set in Montana than out on his music tours. “Yellowstone really gives me a chance to slow things down. It helps me get back to horses, back to nature, back to seeing food grow out of the ground and what it takes to do that.”

Bingham went on to add that his favorite Yellowstone co-stars are the horses. Since he grew up in the country, he loves being out in nature and working with horses. “That’s definitely in my blood and something I really appreciate about the show. Working with horses is a very humbling thing. They’re so strong and powerful yet at the same time such empathetic, sensitive creatures.”
