Man, I need some new Yellowstone in my life.
As you’re probably well aware of by now, the most popular show on TV will be coming to an end with the second half of Season 5. What we don’t know, however, is when the second half of Season 5 will be released, as there’s been a ton of behind the scenes controversy over excessive spending, Kevin Costner’s contract (made messier with his unexpected divorce), and the relentless slate of shows that Taylor Sheridan has been pushing out, the most recent being Special Ops: Lioness.
To be honest, as much as I want the storyline of the flagship show to wrap up, I am beyond excited to see how Matthew McConaughey fits into the planned spin-off, especially after hearing him speak on what drew him to the show in the first place.
But it’s clips like this that make me realize again why this show sucked me in.
Yellowstone released another in their ‘Best Of’ series, this time focusing on Lloyd, a longtime cowboy on the Dutton Ranch.
From helping Jimmy make money by getting him into rodeo, to mentoring Carter, to always being willing to drop some wisdom to a wanting ear, Lloyd is one of the unsung heroes that keep the story together and proves the bond of the Dutton Ranch goes well beyond blood.
Get ready to go back and binge the early seasons, because that’s exactly what this is making me want to do.
