Fans believe Janelle also seemed proud of being able to “go to the movies after work,” while others took care of her children.

They think her “inability to handle conflict” has had a great impact on her life, as she doesn’t speak up, even when something is important to her. Although they ended up marrying the day after, this was a very bad decision on Janelle and Kody’s part. One fan said if they were married on Meri’s birthday, it would’ve been “a slap in the face” to her, as their anniversary would’ve been on the same day, and Kody would’ve had to split his time between the two women. Even though it would’ve been unfair to both of them, it didn’t seem like an initial issue for Janelle or Kody, as Janelle was supposed to “dilute” her problems with Meri.
This moment is particularly hard for fans to get over, as Meri was given a lot of heat over the years for her behavior toward Janelle in the early years of their marriage. They then had to move again to live in an apartment. Janelle won’t be back in the RV, but her plan was illogical.
1, Janelle Brown’s Move To Flagstaff Hurt Her Children
The move from Las Vegas to Flagstaff wasn’t really in the best interest of Janelle’s children, and she was aware of it. Fans believe by moving, Gabe Brown lost “his scholarship opportunity,” which would’ve helped pay for college, and after Maddie Brown Brush “bought a house to be close to them.” The move didn’t really benefit any of Janelle’s children, as it tore them away from their established routines and friends. Viewers said Janelle could’ve looked for a way to “stall” the move for Gabe, or chosen to stay behind with her children. Instead, she moved to Flagstaff with the rest of the Browns, despite it being a poor choice for her children.
Sister Wives fans believe the move to Flagstaff was a bad idea for everyone, especially with Janelle’s “financial whizkid” role in the family. With her background, it seems strange that Janelle couldn’t find a financial argument for why she or even the entire family should stay put. Fans felt it was frustrating because “Janelle made it seem she wouldn’t move,” but didn’t stick to her guns and insisted that moving would be detrimental to the family. It makes it seem like Janelle’s conflict-avoidant personality took precedence over doing what is best for her family. Considering how close Janelle is to Christine’s children, she could’ve looked out for them as well.
It doesn’t seem like Janelle is as logical as she wants Sister Wives fans to believe. Though she has her positive moments, there have also been times when she should’ve put her family first, whether it’s spending more quality time with them before school, or making sure they have the best environment to work and live in. Janelle has made some poor decisions in the past, but doesn’t seem to acknowledge them. Her history with Meri is more than what has been shown on the reality series, and some fans are unhappy with how many of Meri’s scandals are covered rather than Janelle’s.
