Amid Kevin Costner recently garnering a number of acclaims for portraying John Dutton, the Paramount Network drama is recognizing the actress’ career milestones as well. In a new photo uploaded to Instagram, the show’s social team announced that Kelly scored big at the 2023 Gracies Awards. The British star won for Actress in a Leading Role, Drama, during an event that is all about “acknowledgement from peers and industry leaders of work that influences and furthers the achievements of all women in the media.”
“Today (and always!) we’re celebrating @mzkellyreilly for winning #TheGracies,” read the Instagram caption on March 30, featuring a picture of her in character as Beth Dutton.
When Yellowstone fans learned of Kelly’s major career achievement online, they couldn’t stop gushing over how well-earned the acknowledgement was. Without missing a beat, many folks shared their excitement with the show (and subsequently her) by way of the comments section on Instagram.
“Listen to me She’s a phenomenal actress. [Period]! 👏🏾👏🏾 much deserved!!” one person wrote. “Well deserved!!! Kelly Reilly is an absolute QUEEN and the way she portrays Beth could not be any better 👑🙌🏻💗,” a different follower chimed in. “Congratulations 🎉! The news of Kelly winning an award for her TV work comes after she scored a nomination for Yellowstone at the Critics Super Choice Awards in late February. Though she didn’t win an award then, viewers continue to enjoy her take on playing the only Dutton daughter and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser)’s longtime love.
Though it’s still a while before fans will get to catch up with Kelly amid Beth’s quest to potentially take her brother Jamie (Wes Bentley) down in season 5 part 2, at least they’re celebrating her ride there.
