Sister Wives star Christine Brown said enough recently to confirm that she’s pretty much estranged from her co-wives and shared ex-husband. That’s all except for one, Janelle Brown.
Like Kody Brown, she did her fair share of airing the dirty laundry out for the fans. But she seems to back peddle on this now, and she has fans wondering why.
Sister Wives: Christine Brown Retreated
When Christine Brown let Kody Brown know that she was jumping ship, he became furious. Fans thought some of the things he spewed at Christine were cruel.
He left nothing a secret between these two. This includes not wanting intimacy anymore with this particular Sister Wives spouse. He revealed this on screen while a nation of fans tuned in.
So, to say this was humiliating probably puts it lightly. But Christine stood her ground and Sister Wives fans rallied behind her. Then, once she seemed to get a little stronger, she appeared to give Kody Brown a taste of his own medicine.

Once Christine really severed herself from the family by moving hours away to Utah, she found her voice. While there was nothing cruel about her presentation when speaking about Kody Brown, she did manage to send a few jabs his way.
But she used a bit of comedy with her zingers and she threw in a little empathy as well. She also made it clear that Robyn Brown and Meri Brown were not women she was looking to have a relationship with post-divorce. But she remains close with Sister Wives celeb Janelle Brown still today.
But there was still hurt and pain in her voice when speaking about her failed Sister Wives marriage. Although she eventually got over that and a new Christine Brown emerged.
That’s when a new love came along who seemed to kick-start her into gathering her self-esteem. From Christine Brown’s own reports, David Woolley only has eyes for her, and he always treated her like a “queen.”
Sister Wives: Go for the Jugular – But Now Fix It?
So, fans soon saw Christine getting her digs in. While she never said she aimed these things at Kody, fans caught on. For that matter, it seemed as if Janelle Brown did as well.
One of the more recent jabs came from a post where she and David were pictured eating nachos. Fans immediately thought this was a dig at the awful story the Sister Wives patriarch told about her. That story entailed him almost dumping her when they first dated.
He claimed that he watched this “chubby” girl, who rode in the back seat of his car, devour a huge portion of nachos. This is the picture he painted about the incident.
But it originally came out in a book, which was penned by the five adult spouses in this Sister Wives
So Christine used some sarcasm in one of her recent posts with David. The couple ate nachos and never mentioned Christine’s ex-husband in the post. But the jab wasn’t lost on the fans or Janelle. She reacted with a laughing emoji and a few words that suggested she got it.
Things Change for Christine Brown – Damage Control?
But now Christine seems to change her tune. She said in a recent interview with Variety that she plans to stay with the Sister Wives show for as long as it films. She mentioned that from the time she decided to leave the family.
So that’s nothing new. But then she added how she hoped it wouldn’t be too awkward filming with the rest of the family.
She explained that they are all still a family despite her up and leaving. This part seemed rather the opposite of what she said previously. So, is this some damage control going on now ahead of the new season?
From what Christine Brown says, they will all end up filming together at times. So, maybe in order for this to happen, the ex-husband and ex-wife need to at least be cordial with one another.
Before this, Christine acted as if she washed her hands on trying to work on a relationship with any of the adults in the family. She complained about Truely Brown not seeing her father.
So, she painted a less-than-stellar picture of Kody Brown as both a husband and a father. But now she hopes to avoid awkwardness while filming with the family.
Although some fans suggest if it does get awkward, then Christine Brown can take some of the blame for that as well as her ex-husband.
Neither of the two was gracious about the other once Christine Brown announced she was leaving for good. So, it takes two to tango and now it looks like she may be trying to patch things up a bit.
